Pick up in person to save!
Huddersfield Rugby Union Football Club Ltd (also referred to as ‘HRUFC’, ‘we’ and ‘us’) strongly encourages local members and supporters to pick their order up from the main bar or club office, to avoid incurring unnecessary postage fees.

Ordering
Once we receive your order and payment in full (including any applicable postage charges), we will email you to confirm your order (if postage is required, we will send your order to the address provided on your order details). This will create a legally binding contract between us, whether or not you receive the confirmation email.

We reserve the right not to supply you or to cancel orders at our discretion. In the case of HRUFC cancelling your order, you will not be entitled to any compensation for disappointment suffered, however you will receive a full refund. The minimum age required when purchasing goods from this website is 18 years.

Right for you to cancel your order
You may cancel your contract with us for the goods you order at any time up to the end of the seventh working day from the date you receive the ordered goods. You do not need to give any reason for cancelling your contract, although it would be appreciated if a reason was provided, and will not have to pay a penalty.

To cancel your order, you must notify us in writing – letter or email. Whether you have received the order before you cancel or we have already processed the goods for delivery, you must not unpack the goods when they are received by you and must send the goods back to us at our contact address at your own cost and risk (or bring them back to the main bar or club office in person) as soon as possible.

Once you have notified us that you are cancelling your contract, any sum debited to us from your credit card or debit card will be re-credited to your account as soon as possible (within 30 days of your order), provided that the goods in question are returned to us in the condition they were in when delivered to you. If you do not return the goods delivered to you or do not pay the costs of delivery, we shall be entitled to deduct the direct costs of recovering the goods and the amounts to be re-credited to you.

Returns policy
You may return all unopened items purchased from the HRUFC online shop within 14 days of the original delivery. We will pay the return shipping costs if the product is defective or the return is a result of our error. If the item is returned for any other reason, you are responsible for the return shipping amount. No returns will be accepted after 14 days. We will credit you in the same manner as your original payment within 7 days of receiving the returned item.

Liability
If the goods we deliver are not what you ordered, damaged/defective or the delivery is of an incorrect quantity, we shall have no liability to you unless you notify us of the problem by telephone, email or in writing within 10 working days of the delivery of the goods in question.

If you do not receive the goods ordered by you within 30 days of the date on which you ordered them, we shall have no liability to you unless you notify us by telephone or in writing at our contact address of the problem within 40 days of the date on which you ordered the goods. If you notify a problem to us in this regard, our only obligation will be, at your option:

(a) To make good any shortage or non-delivery - within 14 days
(b) To replace or repair any goods that are damaged or defective - within 14 days; or
(c) To refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question in whatever way we choose.

We shall have no liability to you for any failure to deliver goods you have ordered or any delay in doing so or for any damage or defect to goods delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control including, without limitation, strikes, lock-outs and other industrial disputes, breakdown of systems or network access, flood, fire, explosion or accident.

Minimum postage charge
Our minimum postage charge is £3.50. However, we would encourage all local members and supporters to collect their order via the main bar or club office to avoid postage charges.

Standard service
Our carrier is Royal Mail, using First Class post service. For high worth items such as gift vouchers, you may wish to add recorded delivery, which you can select as a postage option.

Availability
All orders for products are subject to stock availability. In the event of your item(s) not being in stock, we will notify you of expected date of arrival.

Product descriptions
Care has been taken with descriptions of all items shown on the website but due to limitations of photography, colours of the goods etc., you receive may differ slightly to those displayed on your monitor. All dimensions and weights given are deemed to be accurate. However, if you have any queries please call or email prior to placing an order. If you are dissatisfied with an item you may of course return it (subject to conditions of returns as listed above).

Customer satisfaction
Our aim is for complete customer satisfaction. Please do not hesitate to contact us should you have any comments or queries relating to our website and the products.

Entire agreement
These terms and conditions, together with our current website prices, delivery details, contact details and privacy policy, set out the whole of our agreement relating to the supply of the goods to you by us. Nothing said by HRUFC staff or members on our behalf should be understood as a variation of these terms and conditions or as an authorised representation about the nature or quality of any goods offered for sale by us. Save for fraud or fraudulent representation, we shall have no liability for any such representation being untrue or misleading.
